Firefighters from three halls responded to a blaze that broke out in a 2300-block Redwood Street home on Wednesday afternoon.
"Upon arrival, crews found smoke and flame coming from a window of one side of a duplex," Prince George Fire Rescue assistant chief Fred Wilkinson said in a statement. "Crews contained the fire to the room of origin and damage is estimated at approximately $50,000."
No injuries were reported and cause of the fire is under investigation.
