Love it or hate it, the first major snowfall of the year arrived early Saturday morning and Prince George residents' preparations were put to the test.
About five centimetres of snow fell in the bowl area of the city, with more accumulating in higher elevations and farther out from the city centre.
Environment Canada is calling for more rain or wet snow over the next couple of days with temperatures dropping to -13 C by Thursday evening, and we can expect more flurries.
