We get it.

Sometimes you're out late and want to sleep in and not have to get up to eat breakfast but still don't want to get up at lunchtime.

We assume that's why someone created the word "brunch."

So, we've decided to list five amazing spots in Prince George to have brunch (note that we aren't saying these are the top five BEST in Prince George.)

CORNERSTONE AT THE RAMADA

You'll love this place. First, it's an all you can eat Sunday brunch which runs from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. but it gets better.

You have such a wide range of food.

There's eggs, pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausages, eggs benedict, hashbrowns and fresh fruits.

Did we mention they also have an omelette bar?

If you aren't in the full brunch mode, they also have other foods including fried chicken, rice and other lunch favorites.

And if that isn't enough, don't fear. There's also dessert!

Options range from an apple pie, apple crumble, black forest cake, cheesecake, pudding and other sweet delights. (They sometimes switch the desserts each Sunday, so it may not be exactly what is listed above.)

The restaurant is located at 444 George St.

TRENCH BREWING AND DISTILLERY

Trench Brewing and Distilling currently has a soft launch brunch menu, but short and sweet is always a good option as well.

They only have three items (that we could find on a current menu) that include eggs benedict, french toast and brunch tacos.

You can get brunch starting at 11 a.m. according to their Facebook page.

Trench is located at 399 2nd Ave.

NANCY O'S

You'll love this local joint right in the heart of Prince George.

You can get brunch on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and boy, do they have it all.

They have everything from eggs benedicts (four types!) to breakfast plates which can include waffles, steak and eggs, skillets, chicken and waffles and breakfast burgers.

You can find them at 1261 3 Ave.

D'LANOS

This cute little family restaurant is a gem you'll love.

Located at 1515 Victoria St., they have a wide range of breakfast items that are sure to awaken your taste buds.

Some menu items include french toast pancakes, corn beef hash, Spanish scramble, homestyle omelets, eggs and English muffins and so much more (we could go on and on but you'd be here forever.)

They do have light breakfast options as well including muffins, fruit bowls, toast and other tasty options.

CARMEL INN

Here's another joint that you'll just adore.

Carmel Inn serves their Sunday brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (perfect timing for you late risers!).

They've got it all including pancakes, sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs and more.

Simple sometimes is just eggtastic!

So get out of bed on the weekend and have an eggcellent breakfast!
