Five people were arrested at the Grand Trunk Inn in Vanderhoof for possession and trafficking a controlled substance in the early-morning hours of Jan. 23.
The Vanderhoof RCMP were assisted by police dog services as they executed a search warrant in a specific room at the inn.
Upon entering the room RCMP encountered three males and two females. One man and one woman were in possession of cocaine at the time of the arrest.
Several dozen grams of cocaine were seized from the room along with quantities of marihuana, mushrooms and cash.
Two males and a female were released with documents to attend court and charges are pending.
