A man has been charged with murder in the death of a 62-year-old Vanderhoof woman.
Justin Johnston, 42, was arrested on Friday, RCMP said, about a month after Joy Morris was found dead in her home in the community of 4,668 people 100 kilometres west of Prince George.
Johnston and Morris were known to each other, RCMP said.
Johnston was arrested in the South Okanagan, where he had recently moved.
He remained in custody following a hearing Wednesday at the Prince George courthouse.
