Six divisions, four teams, one shot.
That’s the outlook for the Prince George Youth Soccer Association (PGYSA) as it gets set to welcome nearly 50 of B.C.’s best ‘B’ level clubs for the 2019 Les Sinnott Memorial Cup.
The host-Impact have four rosters scattered across six different age groups in the tournament.
Prince George will compete in the Under-18 and Under-15 divisions, and two teams in the Under-13 category.
The Under-18 squad, which includes seven athletes graduating from the PGYSA this year, won their only tournament in Kamloops, the Slurpee Cup, back at the end of May.
Each division in the Provincial ‘B’ Championship is broken down into two groups of four and will play three preliminary round games.
Matches will be played at Masich Place Stadium and the PGYSA Fields on 15th Ave.

- Thursday, July 4 = 8 a.m. @ PGSYA Field #1 vs. Terrace
- Friday, July 5 = 9 a.m. @ PGYSA Field #2 vs. Nelson
- Saturday, July 6 = 3 p.m. @ PGYSA Field #4 vs. Vancouver
Under-13 Impact (B)
- Thursday, July 4 = 10 a.m. @ PGSYA Field #1 vs. Kamloops
- Friday, July 5 = 1 p.m. @ PGYSA Field #2 vs. Kootenay South
- Saturday, July 6 = 11 a.m. @ PGYSA Field #4 vs. Coquitlam
The winners atop of each group will automatically advance to the gold medal match.
The Les Sinnott Memorial Cup starts tomorrow (July 4) and continues into the weekend with all of the championship finals set for Sunday (July 7) at 2 p.m.
