The outdoor oval is hosting PG Skates, a free public skate on Family Day this Monday from 1 to 3 p.m.
There will be free skating, free hot chocolate, mascots, goody bags for the young skaters, and music.
"The forecast is for warmer weather," organizers said. "It just might the last day of skating for the season, so come out and have some fun while it lasts."
The outdoor ice oval is a 400-metre skating facility made with natural ice located behind the CN Centre.
It's maintained by volunteers of the Outdoor Ice Oval Society of Prince George with the support of the City of Prince George.
The hours of operation, facility and ice rules, and current conditions are posted on the website (pgoval.ca) and Facebook page (facebook.com/outdooroval).
