The founder of the free software movement will speak at the University of Northern British Columbia on Monday evening.

The founder of the free software movement will speak at the University of Northern British Columbia on Monday evening.

Richard Stallman will speak about the goals and philosophy of the movement and the GNU operating system, launched in 1984, which in combination with the kernel Linux is now used by tens of millions of users worldwide.

Stallman will appear in room 7-212, 6 p.m. start.
