Registration is now open for the Future Fuels Forum, set to take place on Jan. 13 and 14 at the House of Ancestors.

The two-day forum aims to foster collaboration among industry leaders, innovators, policymakers, and experts to explore the future of hydrogen and sustainable energy solutions, states a city press release.

As Prince George positions itself as a potential hub for hydrogen and clean energy initiatives, the Future Fuels Forum will provide a platform for attendees to engage with key players in the clean fuel industry.

Participants will have opportunities to forge partnerships and contribute to discussions that will shape the landscape of sustainable energy in Northern B.C.

“The city is working hard to attract project developers and technology providers to the region, fostering economic growth, job creation, and public-private partnerships," stated Mayor Simon Yu in the announcement. "The Future Fuels Forum will be instrumental in building awareness of the sector and highlighting the opportunities that Northern B.C. offers for sustainable energy projects.”

The forum is supported by partnerships and funding from various organizations, including BC’s Ministry of Energy, Mines, and Low-Carbon Innovation, PacifiCan, Tourism Prince George, Deloitte, and the Canadian Carbon Solutions Coalition.
