Long-time Downtown Business Improvement Association president Kirk Gable has resigned from the board.
"While I regret leaving an organization that I helped to create 11 years ago, I feel that the organization is going through a fundamental change in direction that would best be represented by the new group of directors," he said in an e-mail.
