Garbage collection rates could skyrocket next year.
Unbeknownst to city staff and most councillors, the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George has to offset a drastic shortfall in its solid waste management budget. This was revealed at a public meeting of Prince George city councillors Wednesday night.
