The Prince George Walmart stepped into a new era on Friday when a grand opening was held for a $7-million expansion and upgrade to become the latest addition to the big box chain's growing family of Supercentres.
The many who ventured in following the early-morning ceremony found a store covering more than 160,000 square feet -- about a quarter larger than its previous incarnation -- with perhaps the most noticeable change being introduction of a full-fledged grocery store into the mix.
