Lyn Hall, who has been school board chair since Dec. 2006, will remain in the position after being elected by acclamation by fellow school board trustees on Tuesday night.
Trish Bella will be the new vice-chair after Lois Boone announced last month she won't be seeking the position and won't be running for school board in the next round of civic elections in Nov. 2011.
Valentine Crawford was chosen to be the board's representative on the B.C. School Trustees' Association, taking over from Bella, and Sharel Warrington will remain the representative to the B.C. Public Schools Employers' Association.
The position holders are decided by trustees every December.
