Those living on the Foothills side of the Hart can expect traffic disruptions starting Monday, Jan. 27 through Friday, Feb. 7 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for utility maintenance on a Telus cable line.
The area along Foothills Boulevard between Chief Lake Road and North Nechako Road will be affected for the next two weeks.
But don’t worry, the City of Prince George press release stated in a press release: Emergency vehicles will have access.
Here’s more traffic and pedestrian network disruptions news:
1215 Lethbridge St.
- Will be closed until Sunday, Feb. 9 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to facilitate water, storm and sewer tie-ins, backfill and paving of road.
- Detours will be required
- Emergency vehicles will NOT have access
Lethbridge Street from the south end of Lethbridge to the north end of Lethbridge
- Pedestrian traffic and parking will be closed for the construction of the new parkade until May 2025. Pedestrian re-routing will take place. Traffic will not be affected.
Quebec Street between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue
- Sixth Avenue sidewalk between Quebec Street and Dominion Street remains incomplete and closed.
