A night of drinking and a game of hide and seek led to something much more sinister, a Supreme Court Justice concluded, in finding a Prince George man guilty last week of sexually assaulting a young woman early last year.

A night of drinking and a game of hide and seek led to something much more sinister, a Supreme Court Justice concluded, in finding a Prince George man guilty last week of sexually assaulting a young woman early last year.

Justice Mary Humphries also found Kelsey Alexander Allard, 28, guilty of forcible confinement from the February 2010 incident that began when the two, known to each other, ended up at a home Allard was house-sitting.

After a couple rounds of hide and seek, the two found themselves on a foam mattress in the basement, according to Humphries' reasons for judgment issued this week, where Allard made unwanted advances towards the woman, who cannot be identified under a publication ban.
