One person is dead following a motor vehicle collision on Highway 16 West near Norman Lake Road Tuesday afternoon.
“Our condolences go out to the family and friends of the deceased. Our Victim Services unit will be working with the family as they process this tragic event,” said Prince George RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
The accident, which involved an SUV and a semi-trailer truck, happened at about 5 p.m. Tuesday. It closed resulted in the closure of the highway in both directions for two hours while emergency personnel worked on the scene.
No other information was released.
