Road construction work is planned for Highway 97 in both directions between Wright Creek Road and Crystal Lake Road for 39.3 km this week, Drive BC says.
The work is expected to start on Thursday, Sept. 7 at 7 a.m. and finish on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m.
Drivers are urged to watch for traffic control personnel.
Utility work is also planned between Wright Creek Road and Kinney Road for 1.7 km (6 to 8 km north of Prince George) on Friday, Sept. 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. that will lead to a lane closure, Drive BC added.
Meanwhile, shoulder maintenance on Highway 97 in both directions between Plett No 1 Road and Ewing Road for 19.7 km in the Hixon area runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today (Sept. 5), tomorrow and Thursday with single lane alternating traffic. Watch for traffic control and expect delays of up to 20 minutes.
