So, so, so many hot tubs are sitting in the Kin Centres at Exhibition Park in Prince George right now just waiting to get to their new homes.
That’s right, for the first time in three years the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of Northern BC’s Home & Garden show is up and running ready to help renovate, innovate and irrigate your home and garden.
So many local businesses stepped up and others from around the province stepped into town to offer the latest in home décor, a lifestyle upgrade featuring outdoor furniture, growing options for lawn and gardens, and equipment to do the upkeep once all the updates are done.
DeBug ‘Em Pest Solutions Ltd. is one of the local businesses that had a booth in Kin 2 and there was a lot of action around their booth. So many people stopped to chat and have a look at the daunting mouse and rat trips sitting on the table, not to mention their bigger-than-life stand-up poster of the bugs they deal with.
“Every pest has their peak years and wasps are due,” warned Shawn Yost of DeBug ‘Em Solutions.
The pest control company saw some struggles over the years but now with a great staff and certified technicians on hand they are ready to serve the public. Their reach goes as far as 100 Mile House, Chetwynd, Prince Rupert and every place in between.
“We’re just a bunch of honest, hard working people and we’ve had some struggles in the past, but we’ve got a great team now and we’re asking people to give us a chance,” Yost said.
The most surprising trends in infestations in Prince George are bed bugs and cockroaches and both of these insects are very difficult to get rid of, Yost explained.
