Some daytime high temperature records in Prince George could fall this week.
On Wednesday, the forecast calls for sunny skies and a high of 29 C (and it’s expected to feel like 32 C). That’s within striking range of the 32.2 C record for August 17 set way back in 1933. The normal daytime high is 22 C.
On Thursday, the mercury is forecast to hit 31 C (and feel like 34 C), warmer than the 30.4 C record for August 18 in Prince George set in 1991.
The long-range forecast is calling for daytime highs to stay in the mid-to-high 20s through to the end of next week.
