A house fire on an acreage in Pineview near the Prince George Airport Monday evening caused an estimated $200,000 damage.
Prince George Fire Rescue crews from three fire halls responded to the call at about 7:30 p.m. and on arrival reported smoke billowing from the front door entrance of the structure in the 1600 block of Old Cariboo Highway.
The blaze was quickly extinguished but not before it cause serious damage to the house.
There were no injuries reported.
The cause remains under investigation.
