On July 29, a friend of mine came by for a visit. We found ourselves chatting about my new career, and I began to gush about all the fun ideas I have to get people thrifting more.
“Oh you don’t need to tell me,” she said as she pulled her phone out of her purse.
“Look what I did with an old lamp from your store!”
You guys seriously!!??? I’m always mind blown by the creativity some people have.
Steph used a lamp she bought from our McGill store, an old faucet from her mom’s yard, a glass watering ball and some solar lights to create this eclectic piece.
She also took her grandmother’s metal watering can and created a magical “fountain,” in her garden.
Two very different items that have been upcycled into works of art!
So simple, so thrifty and so unique, I love both of these ideas.
So much so, that I would like to start a group where we can work together, upcycling some of our stores items and making them fabulous again.
