On Saturday morning just after 5 a.m. Prince George RCMP answered the call about a man who had been stabbed at a commercial dwelling on Queensway.
When police and ambulance arrived on scene a man in his thirties was found suffering from life threatening injuries.
He was transported by B.C. Ambulance Service to hospital, where he died of his injuries.
Police will remain at the location while the Serious Crime Unit along with Forensic Identification Services conduct their investigation.
Police believe this is a targeted event and there is no increased risk to the public.
Investigators are not releasing the name of the victim.
The investigation is ongoing.
