Integris Credit Union's employee community engagement team presented the Northern BC Children and Families Hearing Society with money raised at their barbecue and bail fundraiser held Aug. 21 at the downtown branch.

To raise the money local celebrities and business people were held in a makeshift jail on Sixth Avenue until they raised enough money to pay their bail. At the same time a by donation barbecue was held with attendees enjoying a live band while they ate.

The event raised $7,300 with the money being split between the Prince George and District Seniors Activity Centre Society and the Northern BC Children and Families Hearing Society.
