The Prince George RCMP says they're continuing to investigate a Jan. 21 arson which occurred on the 2500-block of Oak Street. Officers responded to a fire at a residence shortly after 6 am on that date, explains a press release.

"The Investigative Services Team continues to collect information on this incident. Investigators are looking to speak with anyone that was in the area between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on the morning of the fire and witnessed anything suspicious. We are also looking to see if anyone driving through the neighbourhood has any dash camera footage or video surveillance from that time frame,” writes Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

One person was inside the residence at the time of the fire, add the release, but they did not suffer any serious injuries and were seen by Emergency Health Services at the time of the event.
