A routine vehicle road check turned into a surprise haul of crack, meth, coke, pot and guns for Vanderhoof police, at the provincial scales on October 21.

Police partnered with the Provincial Commercial Vehicle Enforcement personnel to determine vehicle maintenance compliance and driver sobriety. When they flagged a vehicle for inspection, it was determined the driver, Jesse Woodsford, was in violation of his conditions of an undertaking.

Shortly after, Jennifer Turnbull arrived at the scene to diver Woodsford a ride, and was determined to be involved, as well as an associate of Woodsford.

As the registered owner of both vehicles, Turnbull was arrested.
