A B.C. Supreme Court justice has ruled that a Fort St. James man be convicted of driving with a blood-alcohol level over .08, overturning a lower court acquittal on the charge.
Justice Eric Chamberlist found that a Fort St. James provincial court judge committed an error of law by failing to consider the evidence in its entirety in the case of Barry Shurman Olund, focussing instead on the facts in isolation of each other and drawing unfounded speculations.
