Participants might win a prize but they will definitely save a life as a registrant to be an organ donor.
That's the goal of the Prince George branch of the Kidney Foundation at their annual walk, which will be held Sept. 12 at the UNBC Northern Sport Centre.
Become a kidney hero by picking up a pledge form and sign up supporters to raise funds for the Kidney Foundation.
Register for the event at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m. There will be entertainment, door prizes and incentive prizes as well as refreshments.
