Candis Johnson, a staff member at the Child Development Centre, helped sell balloons that held tickets to a draw as part of the fundraising effort at the 31st annual Kris Kringle Luncheon held at the Civic Centre Friday with proceeds going to the Child Development Centre.

There was more than 650 people who attended the event that featured a traditional Christmas lunch with turkey and all the trimmings, many door prizes and draws, the heads and tails game that saw Mandy Impey win two tickets to anywhere WestJet flies, as well as a silent auction filled with a variety of items donated by local businesses.
