A proposal to establish a liquor store at the old Art Knapps Garden Centre on Highway 97 South was rejected by Fraser-Fort George Regional District directors on Thursday.
The decision followed a public hearing in which directors heard from the applicant and residents in the area. A 254-name petition against the application was also presented to directors.
