All southbound lanes of the John Hart Bridge were closed on Wednesday, Oct. 9 as crews continued work on the replacement of a sanitary sewer force main running under the span.
Drivers had to find alternate routes.
Commuters who chose the Foothills Bridge found a lineup of vehicles waiting to get across.
The closure is in effect until Oct. 24.
