A man has suffered serious injuries after a Hart region collision this morning (June 17) in Prince George.
Cpl. Craig Douglass says Mounties received a report of a vehicle collision that involved a pedestrian in the 3800-block Austin Road.
Douglass says officers and additional emergency services arrived at the scene to find a man that sustained serious injuries from the collision.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the accident and is cooperating with police.
Douglass adds alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to be factors.
Initial information indicates the man might have stepped out from a parked vehicle while the other vehicle was driving by.
The investigation is ongoing.
