Mounties in Prince George are asking for the public's help to identify a robbery suspect.
Cpl. Craig Douglass says just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday (Jan. 8), police received a report of a robbery that took place at a retail store in the 600-block Central Street.
Douglass says a man attempted to steal roughly $200 in perfumes. When staff confronted him, he pulled a large knife and fled the area.
When officers arrived with a police dog services team and searched the area, the suspect was not found.
All other efforts to identify the suspect have been unsuccessful.
The suspect is described as:
- Caucasian male
- Medium complexion
- Tall
- Wearing brown ankle boots, dark pants and a dark hoodie with a "Puma" logo
