RCMP were on the scene at Pine Centre Mall Wednesday afternoon to deal with reports of a man with a knife.
A report to The Citizen indicated several people were approached by the armed man at the shopping centre at about 2:54 p.m. It's alleged that the man attempted a robbery using the weapon.
No injuries were reported.
Police, with the assistance of a canine unit, arrested a 38-year-old man who is not from Prince George, the RCMP reported after the incident.
No further details were made available.
