Mark Makela brings his anti-NDP signs back to Prince George

He's been spreading his message around the northern part of the province for years

Mark Makela is still on his mission.

His goal: Make sure the NDP isn't re-elected.

He says he thinks the party is bad for BC and is making sure Prince George knows how he feels. More than a decade after his signs first started appearing around town, the Rolla, BC resident drove back down the village near Dawson Creek recently to install some of his "NDP BITES" in high-traffic areas, calling attention to his position on the Oct. 19 election.

This isn't an idle effort; Makela is a registered third-party advertiser.

Makela told The Citizen it's important that people vote, as long as it's for anyone other than the NDP. And just as he did in 2013, he said he spends time replacing or repairing the signs after they're blown down, stolen or vandalized.
