In the short history of Prince George organized crime, the only way to displace a gang is with another gang.

Meet our gang. The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit-North. They still don't have a snappy nickname so they go by their initials. The CFSEU developed a strong base in the Lower Mainland first, then came to the northern region because that's where the business is - slowly at first, but they made inroads, got noticed by the other gangs and fought for their turf, and not long ago they opened their own clubhouse.

This gang wears the colours of the law-abiding citizen: plainclothes usually, red serge on formal occasions.

Their Lower Mainland comrades wear all kinds of different colours, because their membership is pooled from a number of other gangs - a lot of them ending in the initials "P.D." - who shared resources and people. Up here they did the same thing, but it was all RCMP with the added help of partners like the Coast Guard, Canada Border Services Agency, etc.

The new gang is doing the same thing the gangs of crooks are doing: trying to take business away from the other guys.
