If you feel unfairly treated by a public body or government, the B.C. Ombudsperson wants to hear from you.
Its mobile complaint clinic will visit Prince George over two days next week as a part of several stops in the Cariboo.
On July 11 and 12, some in Prince George will join the more than 7,500 British Columbians who call the office for information or to complain.
"Your complaint can help others," said Ombudsperson Jay Chalke in a statement. "We have seen many times that just one voice can lead to systemic improvements that assist many."
The office, which dubs itself "B.C.'s independent voice for fairness" has jurisdiction over all provincial ministries and boards, Crown corporations, colleges and universities, schools and school boards, health authorities, local governments and self-governing professions.
"Our mobile complaint clinic is a great option for anyone in the Cariboo and Prince George who has not been successful resolving their concerns about a provincial or local public authority on their own," said Chalke. "We can review your situation at the clinic. That initial review can lead to an investigation by our office."
That's just one way to reach the office, added Chalke, pointing to phone, mail or a web form as other options for complaints.
