Nominations are now open for Women in Natural Resources, presented by the Minerva Foundation for BC Women.
This is the fifth year of Women In, an annual luncheon to celebrate and honour women for their excellence in leadership and philanthropy in a chosen field.
The Natural Resources awards pertain to the energy, forestry and mining industry, including persons producing energy or extracting forest products or minerals, regulators, consultants, equipment and service suppliers and academics and others contributing to that industry. It's not intended to include the agriculture, animal or fishery industries.
Nominations close at 4.30 p.m. on Friday, September 24, with the three chosen honourees being announced in early November. Tickets for the luncheon will be on sale in September through the web site.
