Prince George Law Courts
Trevor Lyndon Alexis (born 1992) was sentenced to two years and 116 days in jail, ordered to provide a DNA sample, and handed a mandatory lifetime firearms ban for discharging a firearm with intent to wound or disfigure. Alexis was sentenced to another year in jail for possession of a firearm contrary to court order, and 60 days for breaching a release order.
Kara Lynn Strijak-Ponte (born 2002) was fined $500, handed a one-year driving ban, and assessed $75 victim surcharge for driving with a suspended licence. Strijak-Ponte was also given 12 months of probation for breaching probation and breach of undertaking.
Quesnel Law Courts
Jodi-Lynne Elizabeth Harkley (born 1979) was handed 12 months of probation for theft $5,000 or under.
Walter Thomas Sawatsky Turner (born 1985) was given 12 months of probation, a nine-month conditional sentence, a three-year discretionary firearms ban, and assessed a $200 victim surcharge for possession of a firearm without a licence or registration.
Dustin James Radke (born 1989) was sentenced to 14 days in jail, handed a one-year driving ban, fined $500, and assessed a $75 victim surcharge for driving with a suspended licence.
Thomas Edward Mayhew (born 1988) was sentenced to 23 months and 24 days in jail, 12 months of probation, and handed a 10-year mandatory firearms ban, for occupying a vehicle knowing a firearm was present and having a loaded or unloaded and prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition. An additional three months in jail was given for breaching a release order.
Smithers Law Courts
Moses Clifford Julian Johnson (born 1987) was sentenced to 55 days in jail and handed 12 months of probation for assault. Johnson was handed another five days in jail for breach of undertaking.
David Allan Schmidt (born 1983) was given a six-month conditional sentence, ordered to pay $2,600 in restitution, and handed a 24-month probation order for breaking and entering with intent to commit an offence. Schmidt was also given a given a six-month conditional sentence, ordered to provide a DNA sample, and handed 24 months of probation for breaking and entering, committing an indictable offence.
Williams Lake Law Courts
Cory Dale Dacey (born 1979) was handed 12 months of probation and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation.
Steven Phillip Ghostkeeper (born 1974) was given 12 months of probation for mischief $5,000 or under.
Joseph Patrick Courtoreille (born 1990) was sentenced to 40 days in jail, handed 12 months of probation, and ordered to provide a DNA sample for assault with a weapon.
Tyrone Terris Squinas (born 1987) was sentenced to 43 days in jail and given a one-year probation order for breaking and entering with intent to commit an offence. Squinas was given another 30 days in jail and a second one-year probation order for breaching a release order.
Rene Murray Alec (born 1978) was sentenced to 19 days in jail and handed 12 months of probation for theft.
Anthony Keenan Don Pearson (born 1999) was handed 12 months of probation for theft $5,000 or under.
Jenna Destiny James (born 1976) was sentenced to 30 days in jail and handed 18 months of probation for uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. James was handed another 18 months of probation for theft $5,000 or under, and ordered to provide a DNA sample, handed a five-year discretionary firearms ban and given 18 months of probation for uttering threats.
Courtney Rose Marie Turner (born 1995) was given 12 months of probation for theft $5,000 or under and breach of undertaking.
Fort St. James Law Courts
Kevin Lee Charlie (born 1981) was fined $1,000 and handed a 12-month driving ban for impaired driving.
James Bradley McNeil (born 1963) was fined $500, handed a 12-month driving ban, and assessed a $75 victim surcharge for driving with a suspended licence.
Dawson Creek Law Courts
Tyler Lee Calliou (born 1987) was sentenced to a total of 97 days in jail and handed a two-year probation order for uttering threats and uttering threats to cause bodily harm. Calliou was sentenced to another 60 days in jail and handed two years of probation for breaching two release orders.
Fort St. John Law Courts
Garett Allen Cazes (born 1982) was sentenced to six years in jail, ordered to provide a DNA sample, and handed a 10-year mandatory firearms ban for breaking and entering, committing an indictable offence. Cazes was further sentenced to one year in jail for unlawful confinement or imprisonment, one year for uttering threats, and two years for aggravated assault.
Jessica Krupp (born 1996) was fined $250 and assessed a $100 victim surcharge for breaching probation. Krupp was given 18 months of probation for theft $5,000 or under, and fined another $250 with a $100 victim surcharge for breach of undertaking.
Darrell Michael Maycock (born 1984) was sentenced to 159 days in jail and handed an 18-month probation order for assault by choking. Maycock was handed an additional 60 days in jail and another 18-month probation order for wilfully resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
Kyle Patrick Cutting (born 1985) was fined $1,000, handed 18 months of probation, and assessed a $300 victim surcharge for possession of a firearm without a licence or registration.
