COVID-19 variants of concern cases are rising in B.C.

Health authorities across B.C. now have a clearer picture of COVID-19 variant-of-concern cases in their area.

As of yesterday (April 9), the BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) is now publishing case counts of variants of concern provincially and by regional health authorities.

There are 34 people hospitalized throughout the region, 12 of which are in ICU/critical care.
