Northern Health has launched a public health phone line to answer questions and concerns about COVID-19 from northern B.C. residents.
The health authority says it hopes to reduce demand on ERs and other health services, and says the service will be staffed by nurses, physicians, and nurse practitioners who can provide virtual screening and assessment for those who feel they may have COVID-19 or feel they have been exposed.
