Now that it’s September and all the kids are back to school, it’s time to think about signing up for fall and winter activities.
If you are not sure what to try this year, or want to sign up for something different, you're in luck because the City of Prince George produces a yearly Active Living Guide which provides seasonal event information to help you choose.
Along with the guide, which can be found online, the city is hosting the annual Active Living Market at Pine Centre Mall this weekend (Sept. 7 and 8).
The Active Living Market will be open Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Market will feature nearly 40 booths and the Guide will showcase the many groups and clubs Prince George has to offer for activities such as:
- Swimming
- Skiing
- Martial arts
- Adapted sports
- Yoga and fitness
- Figure skating and ringette
- Art and education
- Music and dance
The Fall and Winter 2019 Community Active Living Guide will also be available at City Hall, the Prince George Aquatic Centre, and the Four Seasons Leisure Pool by Sept. 10.
