The crisp autumn air, the changing leaves, pumpkin-everything, cozy sweaters, there’s so much to celebrate about fall.

Prince George’s newest festival is doing exactly that — celebrating fall.

Downtown Fallfest will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21 on Third Avenue. The festival will be full of vendors and exhibitors showcasing local products as well as green and sustainable ideas. You’ll also get a unique look at Prince George’s farming and entrepreneurial spirit.

If you’re interested in harvesting yourself, you’ll be able to learn about our northern climate and connect with growers, farmers and other organizations for further education and involvement, such as workshops and online resources.

Downtown Fallfest will also feature VeganFest giving you the opportunity to sample vegan cuisine available in the city and vote for the “Best Vegan Bite in P.G.”

VeganFest will be held in the Hubspace (Third Ave. and Quebec St.) in the middle of Fallfest and feature vegan food booths and information tables.

So mark your calendars because Downtown’s Third Avenue will be brimming with fun activities, live music, entertainment and tons of vendors making this Prince George’s largest outdoor market of the year.

Make sure to wake up early so you get the most out of the day because the festival runs from 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
