The sky’s the limit this August long weekend.

That is, if you attend the Skyfest Quesnel’s International Airshow.

Between Aug. 2 and 4, international aerobatic performers will be taking over the Quesnel skies to the delight of spectators of all ages.

There will be high-flying and low-flying aerobatic stunts with over 80 performers slated to take flight.

You’ll be able to catch the national icon that is the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, as well as performances by the Canadian Forces CF-18 Demonstration team.

Yak-Obatics, a father-and-son duo from Washington featuring Bud Granley in a Yak-55 and Ross Granley in a Yak-18T will show off their skills in a performance they show across North America.

While, Ken Pietsch will fly in his Jelly Belly branded plane for a comedic performance where he does stunts where airplanes that lose parts, engines that quit mid-flight, and landings that keep you guessing.

You can check out the rest of the performers on SkyFest’s website.

There will also be aircraft and aircraft memorabilia on display to the delight of airplane enthusiasts. That’s thanks to the Aviation Collection in Madras, Oregon who will form part of the static display at the show, as they’re bringing in an assortment of vintage aircraft for all to enjoy.

Tickets range in price depending on what package you want, but for a single day, a youth pass costs $10, $30 for an adult, and $65 for a family.
