With COVID-19 altering several events in Prince George, this is set to include the Festival of Trees reimagined and slated for Nov. 27 to Dec. 6.
As a result of the new guidelines for events by Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, Prince George McDonald’s locations are stepping forward in making a daily routine for local residents more meaningful.
The fast-food chain is set to host a series of the breakfast fundraisers, in which $1 from every McMuffin sandwich sold on specific dates will be donated to the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation for much-needed local purchases.
The four Prince George McDonald’s locations that have drive-thrus are participating.
Residents must either purchase an Egg McMuffin, Bacon and Egg McMuffin, or Sausage and Egg McMuffin between 7 and 11 a.m.
The dates and locations for the fundraiser are as follows:
- Nov. 27 = Massey (3250 Massey Dr.)
- Nov. 28 = Hart (6777 John Hart Hwy.)
- Nov. 29 = City Gate (3310 15 Ave.)
- Dec. 2 = Victoria Street (2001 Victoria St.)
