If you're looking to get rid of that mound of paper and documents you have, here's your chance.
The Prince George Crime Stoppers Society will be holding its Fall Shred It event this Saturday (Sept. 19) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Prince George Secondary School (PGSS) parking lot.
Shred-It Mobile Shredding Services will be on hand to help the public shred personal or important documents for a donation ($5 minimum per bag or box) with proceeds going to the Prince George Crime Stoppers Society.
The event, however, is not meant for business owners.
All COVID-19 physical distancing and safety measures will be in place during the event.
If you're hungry after all that shredding, you can grab a Mr. Mikes burger for another $5 donation as a BBQ will be taking place 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The Prince George Crime Stoppers Society teams up with police, media and residents to help solve crimes throughout the city.
