Summer will be celebrated in B.C.’s northern capital next month.
Downtown Prince George is getting ready to host its Downtown Summerfest at Canada Games Plaza, and its surrounding facilities, for the 2019 installment of the annual tradition.
The midsummer festival is expected to see thousands of local residents take to the streets having fun, enjoying the weather, and engaging in family-friendly activities organized by the Prince George Public Library, Two Rivers Gallery, and others.
It’ll also showcase lots of local amenities like food vendors, crafters, music, and the return of the Cottonwood Express mini-train.
Art will also be on display through the Exhibitor Alley, adding to the theme of ‘something for everybody.’
Downtown Summerfest is slated for Sunday, July 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
If you're interested in setting up as a vendor at the festival, or know somebody who might be, you're asked to contact Downtown Prince George.
