Burns Lake's Rachelle van Zanten has been making soul-stirring music for the better part of her life.
Now, she and CFUR Radio are inviting Prince George residents to join her for the launch of her Christmas album, It's Christmas In These Parts.
Van Zanten, joined by The Brain Porter, will sing holiday songs inspired by the classic rural Christmas experience that all northerners know and love.
The Dec. 15 event at Prince George's ever-popular Croft Hotel is being billed as "a night of warm fuzzies."
Concert-goers can expect dancing and Christmas cheer, as well as a silent auction.
Tickets are $15 and can be found by going to the event page on Facebook. Things kick off at 8 p.m.
