If you are looking for something fun to do on the upcoming long weekend, the Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum has a fun event in the works.
The Prince George museum is bringing the Celebration of Lights Family Day Drive-Thru, similar to the event it hosted during the holidays.
It'll feature more than 100,000 lights and displays, rail cars and buildings.
You’ll be able to take it all in as you drive through a designated route set up by organizers.
Then, you're asked to tune into the Museum Radio, reduce the speed of your vehicle and enjoy a tour through the frozen wonder of the eight-acre industrial park.
The event, which takes place Monday (Feb. 15), is free, but the museum is asking for patrons to register online beforehand.
The museum is also open for the Family Day weekend with free admission with a donation of a non-perishable food item.
For more information, you can visit the Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum’s website, where you'll also see its COVID-19 Safety protocols currently in place.
If you are looking for even more action this Family Day, you can take part in a city-wide scavenger hunt called the Family Day Adventure Cruise which gives you the chance to complete challenges and be entered to win prizes.
On Our Radar is just a thing we do when we're looking forward to an event or think the public should be aware of it. Think you have something for it? Email us at [email protected].
