Police say no further details will be released about an incident in the Hart Highlands early Monday, Feb. 3.
Prince George RCMP were called to the 1800 block of Croft Road at 6:45 a.m. Front-line officers were joined by the North District Emergency Response TReam to deal with a complaint from a home in the neighbourhood.
A man was taken into custody.
“Nearby houses were evacuated for the safety of those in the homes; those people will now be allowed back into their residences," stated Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, the Prince George RCMP's media relations officer. "Thankfully, no one was injured during this dynamic event. Police officers will remain in the area as they finalize their investigation."
