Fun and games are planned for Purden Lake provincial park on Saturday as part of B.C. Parks Day celebrations.
A sand castle building competition will be held at the main beach, 1 p.m. start, and kids events - a colouring contest, a nature find game and nature bingo - will start at 2 p.m. at the shelter. And at 7 p.m., UNBC students will host a nature and plant identification walk.
